MiraDigitalZen Publisher Pinterest Privacy Policy
How MiraDigitalZen Publisher handles Pinterest OAuth, trial/sandbox API actions, support, and review data.
Controller and contact
MiraDigitalZen Publisher is operated as an OfficeTool public web workflow for the MiraDigitalZen creator/operator system. Contact for privacy or support requests: info@ecooffice.net.
What the Pinterest integration collects
- Pinterest OAuth response metadata, including authorization code, granted scopes, state value, and error information when authorization fails.
- Basic Pinterest account information allowed by the authorized user, such as account identifier, username/display name, and account context where provided by Pinterest.
- Organic Pin workflow metadata, including selected board, prepared asset label, title, description, destination link, API status, returned Pin/board identifiers, timestamps, and operator review state.
- Website and security logs such as requested URL, timestamp, user-agent, rate-limit signals, and diagnostic errors.
- Support messages sent by email or public request forms.
Why data is used
- To authenticate the authorized Pinterest user with OAuth and protect the authorization flow against request forgery.
- To confirm that the connected Pinterest account is the intended account for the operator workflow.
- To list boards and create operator-approved Trial/sandbox or Standard-access organic Pins when Pinterest API access permits it.
- To troubleshoot review, OAuth, token, board, Pin, and callback errors.
- To maintain abuse prevention, security logs, and compliance records.
Posting boundary
This version of MiraDigitalZen Publisher is approval-gated and operator-controlled. Trial access actions may create sandbox entities visible only to the creator. Public organic Pin creation is not claimed until Pinterest grants the required access tier and write scopes.
Sharing and processors
Data is shared with Pinterest only as needed to complete OAuth authorization, token exchange, account confirmation, board selection, Pin creation, and status checks. Infrastructure and operational service providers may process hosting, logs, email, or private workflow records under operational security controls.
Retention
Authorization state values and short-lived technical records are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Workflow records and support messages may be retained while the integration is active or while needed for legal, security, review, or operational reasons. Access tokens and secrets are not published on this website.
User choices and rights
A Pinterest user can decline authorization, revoke app access where Pinterest provides that control, or contact support for deletion or access requests where applicable. Some records may be retained when required for security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
